Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)

Invites applications from eligible candidates for National Eligibility Test (NET).

Last Date  for  Submission  of Online Applications—September 16, 2017.

Age Limit—

For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)—Maximum age 28 years as on July 1, 2017. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be conceded as per government norms.

For Lectureship (LS)—No upper age limit.

Essential Educational Qualifications—Candidate must possess an M.Sc. degree or equivalent  with   at least 55% marks in the subject in which he is applying from a government recognised board or university.

Scheme of Examination—There will be a single paper of multiple choice objective type questions separately in numerous subjects, carrying 200 marks in each. Candidates’ selection will be decided on the basis of their performance in the Test.
