Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission

Invites  online  applications  from eligible candidates for recruitment of ‘Forest Guards’ in Forest Department under Group ‘G’.

Last Date for Submission of Online Applications—September 20, 2017.

Age Limit—The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 24 years as on July 1, 2017. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given as per government rules.

Essential Educational Qualifications—Candidate must possess an Intermediate pass certificate or equivalent with ‘Agriculture’ or Science from a government recognised Board or educational council.

Number of Vacancies—1218.

Selection Procedure—There will be a physical efficiency test of the candidates. Successful candidates in the PET will be invited for the Written Test. The Written  Test will carry 100 ‘Objective   Type Multiple Choice’ questions of one mark each. The questions will be based on science and agriculture of intermediate level. There will be negative marking also in the Written Test.
